Fleetwood x Ducati James is a south carolina-based music group consisting of blood brothers Lane Strom Poston (Fleetwood) and Eric Chalmers Poston (Ducati James). Known for their satirical, controversial, and often provocative lyrical style, the duo combines social commentary with southern grit and comedic flair. They are co-founders of Chakhead, LLC, a South Carolina-based music label, media group, and cultural movement.
Eric Chalmers Poston, professionally known as Ducati James, was born on August 30, 1987, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 2009 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Psychology and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2015. He later founded the law firm Chalmers Poston, LLC, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Lane Strom Poston, known artistically as Fleetwood, was born on December 1, 1990. He graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 2013 and later earned a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
The duo began releasing music under the name Fleetwood & Ducati James in 2018. Their breakout track, "Jenna Jameson," went viral after its provocative video—featuring adult film stars Jesse Jane and Olivia Austin—was published on WorldStarHipHop, quickly surpassing 50 million views on YouTube.
The duo is known for their brash delivery, pop culture references, and politically charged content. Ducati James is also a licensed attorney who often blends his legal advocacy into music projects. He wrote and produced the song "Innocent (Sidney Moorer)" as part of a campaign proclaiming his client’s innocence in a South Carolina murder trial.
In 2018, the Poston brothers founded Chakhead, LLC. The company serves as a music label, artist management firm, and content hub for the duo’s releases, videos, and merchandise. Ducati James also serves as CEO and primary legal counsel for the company.
Fleetwood & Ducati James have received attention on WorldStarHipHop, YouTube, Apple Music, and other major platforms for their eccentric and unpredictable releases. Their work has sparked conversations around politics, identity, criminal justice, and freedom of speech.
